Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data buildersos.ai (the “Site”) collects, why, and who else is involved. We try to keep things minimal: we do not run ad networks, we do not sell data, and we do not use cookies for advertising or behavioral profiling.

1. Who we are

buildersos.ai is an independent project operated from Japan. For privacy questions, contact hello@buildersos.ai.

2. What we collect

We collect only what we need to run the Site:

• ›Aggregate analytics — visit counts, referrers, country, and page paths via Cloudflare Web Analytics. No cookies, no fingerprinting, no cross-site tracking.
• ›Newsletter signups — email address (and any data you choose to add) when you subscribe via Beehiiv.
• ›Email correspondence — when you write to us, we keep the message to reply.
• ›Affiliate referrals — when you click an affiliate link and sign up at a vendor, the affiliate network reports the referral back to us. We see partial information (typically a hashed identifier or first-name initial), not your full vendor account.

3. What we do NOT collect

• ›We do not run ad networks or remarketing pixels.
• ›We do not set tracking cookies. The only cookies you may encounter come from our newsletter form (Beehiiv) when you actively interact with it.
• ›We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with data brokers.

4. Third-party services

We use a small number of vendors to operate the Site. Each is bound by its own privacy policy:

• ›Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and Web Analytics.
• ›Supabase — database backend for the pricing dataset (does not store personal data from visitors).
• ›Beehiiv — newsletter signups, delivery, and unsubscribe handling.
• ›Affiliate networks — including PartnerStack, Impact, and direct vendor programs (e.g. Beehiiv, Systeme.io, Kinsta) when you click an affiliate link.

5. Affiliate links & tracking

When you click an affiliate link, the destination vendor or its affiliate network may set a cookie or attribution token to credit us with the referral if you sign up. We do not control those cookies. If you prefer to avoid them, you can navigate to the vendor’s site directly instead of via our link.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. EEA/UK under GDPR, California under CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to:

• ›Access the personal data we hold about you.
• ›Ask us to correct or delete it.
• ›Withdraw consent for newsletter communications (use the unsubscribe link in any email).
• ›Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. Data retention

Newsletter subscribers are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Cloudflare Web Analytics aggregates are stored according to Cloudflare’s retention policy (we do not store individual visit logs ourselves). Affiliate referral records are retained as long as required by the relevant affiliate network and applicable tax law.

8. Children

The Site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above indicates when the latest revision took effect.
