What changed in the rebrand

In 2024, ConvertKit rebranded to Kit. The change was:

  • Brand name: ConvertKit → Kit
  • Primary domain: convertkit.com → kit.com (the old domain still redirects)
  • Visual identity: a refreshed logo and design system

What did not change:

  • The product itself — same email automation, same broadcast tool, same landing pages, same Commerce
  • Pricing tiers and structure
  • Existing user accounts, subscriber lists, and integrations
  • The underlying domain reputation and deliverability

Why the rebrand happened

The “ConvertKit” name implied an email-marketing-conversion tool, but the platform had grown into something broader: Commerce for selling digital products, Recommendations for cross-promotion between creators, and the Creator Network for paid referrals. The shorter “Kit” branding signals “the toolkit for your creator business” rather than “the email tool that converts.”

For working creators, this was a brand update, not a product change. You don’t need to migrate, re-import, or change anything in your account. The login URL is now app.kit.com.

When you’ll see “ConvertKit” still referenced

You’ll still see “ConvertKit” in:

  • Older third-party integrations (Zapier, Make, etc.) that haven’t updated their connector names
  • Course content and articles published before 2024
  • API documentation in older third-party guides

These are cosmetic — the underlying API and integrations work the same. For current pricing, see the Kit tracker.
